The "Great Reset" is Still On Track
April 21, 2026. This week, Palantir Technologies — a major defense contractor with deep ties to the Trump administration and the U.S. military-industrial complex — dropped a 22-point manifesto summarizing CEO Alex Karp’s 2025 book The Technological Republic. Among its most explosive points: “National service should be a universal duty. We should, as a society, seriously consider moving away from an all-volunteer force and only fight the next war if everyone shares in the risk and the cost.”
Coming just seven weeks into active U.S. military operations in Iran, as Selective Service races toward automatic registration of all draft-age males by December 2026, this is no idle speculation. It is a public signal from the very elites who shape policy that the all-volunteer era is ending — and that a draft (or its functional equivalent) is back on the table.
I have been warning about exactly this convergence since May 2023. What began as my lone “pet conspiracy theory” about open borders as a deliberate pipeline for cannon-fodder has now matured, through successive columns, into a single, tightly interwoven predictive cord.
That cord binds four strands:
(1) the engineered flood of military-age illegal immigrants as ready-made recruits;
(2) the sabotage of native-born American military recruitment through woke cultural policies;
(3) Donald Trump’s role as the reluctant but necessary commander-in-chief to sell these wars to the American people; and
(4) the larger Great Collapse/Great Reset strategy of the globalist dynasties.
And every strand aligns precisely with biblical patterns of end-times deception and tribulation.
The First Strand: Open Borders as Manpower Pipeline (May 2023)
In my May 15, 2023 WND column “Are open borders tied to Ukrainian war of attrition?” (and its near-identical companion on scottlively.net titled “An Alternate Theory on Open Borders”), I wrote what no one else was saying:
“I believe the flood of illegal immigrants who have been coming over our southern border for the past decade — mostly military-age young men — may actually be intended to serve as cannon-fodder for the now-admitted American-run Ukraine war of attrition against Russia. Their status as non-citizens… would allow them to become foreign mercenaries… recruited/conscripted in the U.S., perhaps in conjunction with the threat of deportation/prosecution (in carrot-and-stick fashion)… Interestingly, even illegals are legally required to register with Selective Service.”
Notably, even as some deportations have occurred, the majority of those removed have been convicted criminals — leaving behind a selectively curated pool of healthier, more able-bodied military-age men, precisely the caliber of disciplined recruits the elites would prefer for their coming wars.
I followed up in July 2023 with “Milestones in the March to WWIII” and in February 2024 with “Updating My Pet Conspiracy Theories,” noting that even corporate media had begun floating — then frantically denying — the return of the draft. The pattern was clear: elites learned from Vietnam that Americans will not tolerate the mass loss of their own sons in endless wars for corporate and geopolitical gain. Solution? Import the manpower, suppress native enlistment with transgender pride days and DEI mandates, then activate the pool when the next big war demands it.
The Second and Third Strands Merge: Trump as the Elites’ War Leader (2024)
By late 2024, the theory had expanded. In “Have Obiden and the Clintons cut a deal with Trump?” (WND, Oct. 24, 2024) and especially “The top elites want Trump to run their pending war” (WND Nov. 11, 2024; scottlively.net Nov. 30, 2024), I explained how the true power brokers — the military-industrial complex and banksters — had grudgingly accepted Trump’s return because they needed a charismatic strongman to lead the coming conflicts and preserve American hegemony against the BRICS challenge.
I wrote: “Their best hope of retaining control is to preserve the U.S. as the world’s sole superpower. That means war, which means ‘American’ boots on the ground (the illegals earning citizenship the hard way), which requires a truly believable commander in chief…”In the companion piece “3 steps Trump should take to prevent WWIII” (WND Nov. 21, 2024), I laid out the off-ramps I hoped he would choose: conditional BRICS partnership to keep dollar dominance, a Christian-cultural alliance with Putin against Marxism and Islamism, and a NATO-Russia non-expansion pact. I still pray he takes them.
The Fourth Strand: The Great Reset as the Ultimate Goal
All of this fits the Marxist dialectic of engineered chaos (thesis/antithesis) leading to a new synthesis — the Great Reset. Wars provide the pretext for economic collapse, martial law, and public desperation that only a “new order” can supposedly solve. Trump is the wildcard deliverer figure (a modern “David” after “Saul/Biden”), but I have always cautioned against messianic expectations. In my October 2023 column “A contrarian Trump scenario for 2024,” I warned that elites could co-opt even a genuine disruptor to play the role of false messiah in the end-times script.The Prophetic Cord Is Now CompleteLook at the timeline in hindsight:
2023: I predict open borders = draft pool for proxy wars.

2026: Palantir — Trump’s favored defense-tech giant — publicly calls for universal national service exactly as U.S. forces are engaged in Iran, Ukraine negotiations continue, and Selective Service automation looms.
Every strand is now braided into one thick rope. The immigrant manpower is pre-positioned. Native recruitment has been deliberately crippled. Trump sits in the Oval Office with the credibility to lead. And the defense contractors are openly demanding shared sacrifice.
This is not coincidence. It is pattern recognition confirmed by events. And it matches biblical prophecy with eerie precision: wars and rumors of wars (Matthew 24:6), the love of many growing cold amid deception (Matthew 24:12), and a false peace that precedes sudden destruction (1 Thessalonians 5:3). The globalist “beast system” of Revelation 13 does not arrive in a vacuum — it rides in on the back of engineered crises that make the masses beg for order.
I still support President Trump and pray he chooses the path of restraint I outlined in 2024. He has already forced elite concessions and slowed the march to full WWIII. But we must remain clear-eyed. The same elites who opened the borders and now call for a draft are the ones who profit from perpetual war.
